Waiting for that day

Some lyrics..some melody or words can come to our minds with no reason..here it is one that came to me tonight..

So every day I see you in some other face
They crack a smile, talk a while
Try to take your place
My memory serves me far too well

I just sit here on this mountain thinking to myself
Youre a fool boy
Why dont you go down
Find somebody
Find somebody else
My memory serves me far too well

Its not as though we just broke up
Its not as though it was yesterday
But something I just cant explain
Something in me needs this pain
I know Ill never see your face again

Cmon now
Ive got to be strong now

Now everybodys talking about this new decade
Like you say the magic numbers
Then just say goodbye to
The stupid mistakes you made
Oh my memory serves me far too well

Dont you know that
The years will come and go
Some of us will change our lives
Some of us still have nothing to show
Nothing baby
But memories

And if these wounds
They are self-inflicted
I dont really know
How my poor heart could have protected me
But if I have to carry this pain
If you will not share the blame
I deserve to see your face again

Cmon now
You dont have to be so strong now
Come back

Come back to me darling
I will make it worth your while
Come back to your baby
I miss your kiss
I miss your smile
Seems to me the peace I search to find
Aint going to be mine until you say you will
Dont you keep me waiting for that day
I know, I know, I know
You hear these words that I say

You cant always get what you want

Paris City Boy

Back home..Where to start from? Too many things about Paris..the food, the people, the prices, the Pet Shop Boys concert..Disney! Pictures maybe the best way to resume these short but definitely intense holidays! Not much french food actually but an exotic mixture of japanese, indian and KFC too! People will not bright for their kindness but all went good with my perfect FranÇais..Paris is quite expensive; having a coffee, even not in a tourist 'arrondissement' can be 3 euros.. imagine if we speak of traditional restaurants..And then Disney. Everybody can enjoy that..young and..not that young! A day at the resort is quite enough, ending tired and excited with all that atmosphere!

Good bye Lenin

This was in tv last night. It may sound a bit old fashioned but I have always liked this film since it talks in an original way about changes that happen in your life, directly or similar, due to politic events..too.The colour of dictatorship by now doesn't really matter to me. This speaks about communism in 'old' East Germany..and we could be talking about Franco, Pinochet or Castro. i simply think that it get to my nerves when i see how a government feel that it can act like a sort of father, controlling our freedom, our likes and eventually our dreams.

..And I discovered her only now..AMY WINEHOUSE

This is my favourite.., 'Love is a losing game'though i can't help listening to Rehab too..and dance to it! the way she sings leaves years behind mariah and Christina. She probably has what gossip wants plus..art. hope i'll see her live.for a glass of Rioja wine haha!Adieu techno pop...am i getting old or simply mad?

Feltri for President

I'll become a fan of italian journalist Vittorio Feltri, a man like his newspaper Libero, i mean one who says what he thinks but with rational arguments, from a liberal point of view. He spoke good on the 'funny' sort of italian artist who the other day attacked the Pope and catholicism in general in the May 1 concert. I mean, if you pray laicism..as that one probably does,...who cares about what church says anyway? and then on the peculiar government we have in Italy these days, in which the coalition goes from catholics up to 2 communis parties! Something that as Feltri said, it's 'quite' hard to explain to our european friends..
